🌍 SINE Education is a leading provider of English communication programs for government secondary schools all over Thailand. We are currently hiring for the following position:
📚 Maths and Science Teacher
Ages: 13 - 18 (M1 - M6)
Location: Nonthaburi, Bangkok.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, experience in both their subject and the classroom, and a desire for further professional development.
SINE teachers receive full support from SINE in-school coordinators and the academic management team. As an SINE Teacher, you will benefit from a Western and Thai management team, with years of experience working in the ASEAN market. SINE understands the challenges and benefits of learning English, and our courses are designed to make learning as fun and rewarding as possible.
📝 Contract Details:
Start Date: November 2024 (ASAP, availability-dependent)
End Date: March 31, 2025 (with automatic renewal from April 1, 2025)
📌 Job details:
As a SINE EP teacher, you'll utilise both internal and external resources to create and teach content aligned with the Thai Curriculum. SINE supports you with:
• Textbooks
• Workbooks
• Template PowerPoint lessons
• Other teaching materials
👨🏫Your responsibility as an EP Teacher is to utilise these resources to tailor lessons to your students:
• Class size: 30 students maximum
• Teaching hours: no more than 18 per week
💸 Salary and Benefits:
• Starting Salary: 42,000 THB (40,000 THB base + 2,000 THB cost of living allowance)
• Contract Completion Bonus: Up to 12,000 THB (30,000 THB for a full school year)
• Teaching Hours: Maximum of 18 per week
• Paid Holidays: 1 week in March + Thai public holidays
• Sick Leave: Paid
• Teaching Materials: Preliminary resources provided by SINE
• Work Permit and Non-B Visa: Processed and paid for by SINE's dedicated work permit/visa team
• Health Insurance: Allianz coverage + dental
• Support: Dedicated SINE Coordinator and departmental colleagues
• Accommodation: Assistance finding accommodation provided by SINE
🎯 Requirements:
🌍 Native English speakers from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the USA
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Mathematical field from an accredited university is essential (Engineering degrees are welcome). Candidates without relevant degrees need not apply.
📚 Prior teaching experience
🎂 Age: 55 or under
