Part-time Toddler Group Leader

Candidates should hold a proven track record in working within an Early Years setting and
hold enthusiasm towards play-based learning approaches. A genuine interest in child
development is essential, alongside a commitment to establishing strong, caring family
relationships. You will work in a highly collaborative team and strong communication skills
will be essential, allowing the development of supportive relationships with our Regent’s
community. Given the international nature of the programme, eligible candidates must be
English-native speakers. QTS is not a requirement, however is desirable.

The role of Toddler Leader: further details
1.5 hour session (9:00-10:30)
Prep time (8:00-9:00) and Tidy time (10:30-11:00)
Overall 3 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

● During the 1.5 hour session, children explore the Toddlers environment with their
parent/carer. The member of staff leading the session will have specific focus
activities set up and encourage children to engage in these activities with them.
Children are also free to explore the continuous and enhanced provision around the
room.
● Capacity: 10 children, each with one accompanying adult
● There is a snack time during the session, provided by Foodhouse.
● Each day has a specific focus, usually including a session led by specialist staff.
