OVERVIEWOne Publique Company Limited is looking for a Debate Coach to deliver an excellent debate education experience to our students. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with youth and interested in working with a fast-growing education company. They are interested in an impactful opportunity to develop young critical thinkers and future leaders of Thailand.
One Publique Company Limited is a public speaking & debate coaching company. We are a new wave of education with an aim to boost our learners’ confidence for personal and professional success. We pride ourselves on our hands-on and personalized workshops which provide lifelong communication skills to help our learners present themselves in the best light possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifying strengths and weaknesses of students in debate
• Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to improve their manner, matter, and method in debate
• Monitoring and enhancing performance by providing suggestions, encouragement, and constructive feedback
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong track record in competitive debating
• Strong experience teaching and coaching debate
• Passion for working with youth and in education field
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Excellent communication, public speaking, debate, and presentation skills
PREFERENCE FOR
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in instructional or educational fields
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
• Classroom management experience
• A solid track record of the achievements of the students coached by the candidates
STYLE OF COACHING
• AP, WSDC, and World Scholar’s Cup
STUDENT AGE AND GROUP SIZE:
• There are two types of age groups at One Publique: 11-13 years old or 14-18 years old. We normally don't mix ages.
• 6 students maximum per class
SELECTION
The selection process is as follows:

• Complete pre-interview assignments
• Face-to-face interviews including a mock teaching session
• Attend teacher training
ROLE TYPE
Part-time. Most teaching slots will be on Saturday and Sunday (9.00-11.00, 13.00-15.00, or 16.00-18.00) and weekdays 16.00-18.00 pm. Flexible hours depending on your availability to teach.
