EAL Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to join our team at FSB, an international school in Bangkok. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students from diverse linguistic backgrounds in developing their English language skills, and they must be ready to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and support students at various levels of English proficiency (Waves 1, 2, and 3).
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide in-class support for students.
Develop tailored language support plans for individual students and monitor their progress.
Participate in curriculum planning and collaborate on whole-school initiatives.
Engage in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

A recognised teaching qualification with a specialization in EAL or TESOL/TEFL.
A minimum of 3 years of experience teaching EAL in an international school setting.
Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of multilingual learners.
Strong knowledge of EAL strategies and the ability to differentiate lessons effectively.
Experience with both withdrawal and in-class support models.

Skills:

Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
Organisational and time-management skills to balance teaching and administrative responsibilities.
