Chiang Rai International School is looking for a qualified Physical Education Teacher and Head of SportsQualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (ability to teach Health as well)
• Teaching license / certification from an accredited university/college
• Ability to teach PE from G6 – Gr 12 level
• Minimum 2 years MS/HS teaching experience
• Student-centered, Flexible, and Creative instruction
• Attentive to Social-Emotional Learning needs of students
• Commitment to collaborative planning
Major Job Responsibilities as the Head of Sports:
Plan and organize sporting events/tournaments related to the scheduled sporting seasons
Oversee and liaison for the Football/Basketball academies
Develop the Sporting Academies
Organize and lead the house day events at School (one house day event per quarter)
Major Job Responsibilities as the Physical Education Teacher:
1. Plan and present lessons in Physical Education and grade levels assigned
2. Create positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
3. Design and present effective, standards-based instructional units
4. Provide constructive feedback to students, parents and administration
