SIAM Computer & Language School is accepting applications from experienced Filipino English teachers - Applicants should have experience teaching English to secondary level students in Thailand and be familiar with a student-centered approach in addition to possessing solid classroom management skills.

Location of position:
Sai Ma, Mueang Nonthaburi District,
Nonthaburi 11000. Nearest MRT is Sai
Ma (purple Line)

Details of school:
A large government school with both Mathayom and Prathom students. It is an Islamic school;
therefore, public holidays may vary. Boys and girls study separately - Sandals are worn indoors

Details of available positions:
Communicative English M1-6 (21 periods / week)
Communicative English M1- 6 + CEP M2 & M4-6 (21 periods / week)

Founded in 1979, SIAM has been operating for more than 40 years. Many of our large team of NES and NNES teachers have been working with us at least 5 years and continue to do so. We are happy to welcome new and enthusiastic teachers to the SIAM family each year and hope to build strong relationships with all who join us.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 120Hr TEFL or a CELTA qualification
• Teaching experience in Thailand or elsewhere
• A reliable and positive character
• Be aged between 23 and 50 (client specified)
• Be currently in Thailand and possess a valid visa
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID 19
• Online teaching platform experience and be computer savvy

The following would also prove advantageous:
• Understanding of Thai culture , Thai school culture in addition to Islamic culture
• Willingness to develop and grow as a teacher with the support of our professional development team

What we offer:
• Salary package with bonuses - Rate of 30,000+baht / month (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Oct 31 start with *all national holidays paid during employment period *Islamic calendar may differ
• Two-semester contract review - current contract until Mar 14, 2025
