Part-time Chinese Language Teacher

Due to ongoing growth in enrolments, TSI International School is currently seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, qualified, and committed foreign language teacher to teach Chinese to students aged 5 - 11. This position will be at our Wongwianyai Campus (primary school).
All TSI teachers share responsibility for the academic progress and pastoral care of students. The successful applicant must be a team player willing to participate fully in day-to-day school life.

DETAILS OF THE POSITION:

1) CONTRACT DURATION:
This position will start in Term 2, Tuesday 7th January 2025 (part-time, three days per week).

2) QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants for the position must be qualified with at least a Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent postgraduate qualification in teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.

3) MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Chinese to students aged 5 - 11 years, three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).
- Assess, track and report student progress at Milestone Assessment periods.
- Organise and participate in school events such as Chinese New Year.
- Rostered supervision duties during breaks.
- Lead an extra-curricular activity 1-2 days/week (during school hours).

4) EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should have at least 2 years experience teaching in an International Primary School environment.

5) HIGHLY DESIRABLE:
- Experience teaching learners aged 5 -11 years.
- Have an understanding of the UK curriculum.
- Additional qualifications and/or recent professional development.
- Sporting, extra-curricular or administrative skill/s that can contribute positively to our school.
- Have a positive, 'can-do' attitude and a collaborative team player mindset.

6) BENEFITS:
- Starting salary of 27,000 baht per month.
- Health insurance.

Since changing management in 2017, TSI International School has gone through a massive renewal process. A new building is due to open at our Bearing Campus in August 2025.
