NES / European English Teacher

Mukdahan School (Mattayom / High School) is looking for a teacher to join their Mini English Program.

Mukdahan School is located in Mukdahan Province in the North East of Thailand. Mukdahan is on the border with Laos, and is about 10 hours away from Bangkok. There is a laid-back approach to life here. The people are friendly and you will be joining a big team of Foreign Teachers (including the new teachers there will be about 20 foreign teachers in total).

While the interview process is online you will be expected to attend the school for the contract signing in person shortly after the online interview.

Position Available

1 Basic English / Reading and Writing / Essay teacher (MEP) (M4-M6) (16 periods a week total)

NES and Europeans can apply, however applications from the following nationalities will be given priority: UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland

Requirements and Details:

Bachelor’s Degree (Europeans must have a degree in English or English Education)
Applicants should be aged 22-55
A medical certificate from a government hospital stating you are fit to teach
Applications will be accepted until November 18th
Online interview will take place on November 25th/26th
The successful applicant will be expected to attend the school ASAP after the online interview for the contract signing.
Contract will start December 1st and is until March 31st 2025
You will be eligible for a yearly contract thereafter (12 month contract, 12 months paid if you work the Summer Camp in April, or 11 months paid if you take April as a holiday)
Starting salary is 35,000thb a month for applicants from NES countries. For Europeans it is 30,000.
