Position Available: Temporary Biology Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University, Bangkok

Start date: January, 2025
Contract Duration: 45 days - 50 days
Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience

What we need:
SBS is looking for an experienced and dedicated temporary teacher to join our team and cover for maternity leave in our Science Department. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering an engaging learning environment, following the Cambridge Curriculum to support student development in Biology.

Key Responsibilities:
● Teaching: Deliver Biology lessons to secondary students according to the Cambridge and Thai MoE curricula.
● Preparation: Create lesson plans and instructional materials, and manage information through the school's administrative system.
● Student Assessment: Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
● Adaptation and Support: Tailor teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and support students requiring extra assistance.
● Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and guardians to discuss student progress and any academic or behavioral challenges.
● Professional Engagement: Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and support extracurricular activities as needed.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Science, or a related field.
● Valid teaching licence or certification.
● At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge International or Thai MoE setting.
● Experience working with EAL learners and conducting laboratory experiments.

Skills and Attributes:
● Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 level).
● Strong classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
