ELD Teacher

The ELD Teacher will provide direct language support for multilingual students through both push-in and pull-out instruction. Working in close partnership with the ELD Coordinator and homeroom teachers, the ELD Teacher will adapt content, monitor progress, and promote academic language acquisition that aligns with school curriculum and goals.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, Education, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
* Experience providing ELD or ESL support to multilingual students, ideally within push-
in/pull-out models.
* Strong understanding of language acquisition, differentiation strategies, and
collaboration.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students,
teachers, and families.
* Must be a native English speaker

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver push-in and pull-out ELD support to help students develop English proficiency
within content areas.
* Collaborate with the ELD Coordinator and teachers to integrate language development
goals into core lessons.
* Regularly assess language skills, track student progress, and adjust instruction based on
data.
* Communicate progress with families and maintain detailed records for academic
reporting.
* Stay updated on ELD best practices, participate in professional development, and
advocate for inclusive, language-sensitive instruction across the school.
* Support students' social and academic integration, fostering a culturally responsive and
supportive classroom environment.
