IEP Kindergarten / Primary Teacher

Prom School is seeking an IEP KG-Primary teacher for K.1 to G.6 for the academic year 2024-2025 to start immediately or January 2025. Candidates MUST currently reside in Thailand.

Prom School is a private kindergarten and primary school located on Latkrabang road, Bangkok. The school was founded in 1990 with a fun, friendly, and safe learning environment. It currently educates about 380 students to become creative, enthusiastic, and independent life-long learners.

Teaching environment:

Prom school is a leading school of Intensive English Programs (IEP.) in the Latkrabang district. Students are encouraged to study Maths, Science, and English subjects with foreign teachers from K.1 to Grade 6.

The classroom size is ranged from 24 to 34 students per class with up to two supportive Thai teachers assisting in the classrooms.

Working hour is 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, from Monday to Friday up to 23 classes per week. Unit tests and final exams are prepared by the school.

Qualifications:
For Native English Speaking teachers ( minimum base salary 42,000 baht )
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with at least 1-year teaching experience in Thailand
• Have teaching experience in Science and/or Math in English for Primary school (G.1-6)
• Able to work full-time for at least a one-year contract (renewable)
• Age 22-50 years old, currently in Thailand
• Positive and self-improvement attitude
• Love singing and making classroom hands-on materials

For Non-Native English Speaking Teacher ( minimum base salary 36,000 baht )
• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields with at least 1-year English teaching experience in Thailand.
• Have teaching experience in Science and/or Math in English for Primary school(G.1-6)
• Must have an English language test score ( minimum of TOEIC score 850 or TOEFL IBT 79 or IELTS 6.5 )
• Must have TEFL or TESOL or CELTA certificate
• Able to work full-time for at least a one-year contract (renewable)
• Age 22-50 years old, currently in Thailand
• Positive and self-improvement attitude
• Love singing and making classroom hands-on materials

Salary: NES teachers starting from 42,000 Baht per month (commensurate with experience)
Non-NES teachers start from 36,000 Baht per month (commensurate with experience)
