Early Years Teacher Position (3 – 6 Years Old)Job Summary
Crane International School Myanmar (CISM) is looking for a native English speaker with experience of teaching aged 3~6 years old students. The candidate must be an inspirational classroom practitioner with a love for young children, commitment to high standards of achievement and a willingness to contribute to the further development of the school.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Be knowledgeable with UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
framework and Cambridge Year 1 English curriculum. It would be a
bonus if you are familiar with Cambridge newly introduced Early
Learning Platform.
• Collaborate with other teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver
stimulating activities and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Help young learners to have smooth transition from pre-kg to Year 1 .
• Maintain effective classroom management and develop good habits by
promoting positive discipling methods in classrooms.
• Assist in identifying and reporting children’s physical and emotional
needs through observation, discussion and make follow-ups as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective and respectful relationships
with colleagues, parents, communities and stakeholders.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development training as
required.
• Follow school policies outlined in the staff handbook, including Health
and Safety and Child Safeguarding policies.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or if not a Bachelor's degree with
a relevant teaching qualification is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of teaching experience in Early Years
settings.
• Native English Speaker is preferred, however an experienced teacher
with a near-native level of English is welcomed to apply.
