We are currently hiring a NES Secondary English EP Homeroom Teacher to join our Kajonkietsuksa School in Phuket, Thailand (urgently needed position).

The candidate must be a qualified & passionate Native English Teacher who can exceptionally perform as a Professional Homeroom Teacher. They should hold an Educational Degree or any related field, and preferably PGCE. Many years of teaching experience with high school learners in IELTS, SAT, Advanced English would be prioritized.

A Required start date: Mid of December 2024 (to accommodate a smooth transition)

Ideal Candidate:
• Showing outstanding characteristics; energetic, compassionate, resilient, and initiative.
• Willing to make Phuket province home for a minimum of 1-2 years.
• Holding a mature attitude towards work and a growth mindset.
• Showing a strong desire and passion to teach 12-18 years old children with mixed second-language abilities.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Native English-speaking from the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.***
• An accredited Bachelor's degree and preferably a PGCE/Elementary level.
• A university qualification is a minimum requirement for applicants under regulations set by the Thai Ministry of Education.
• Teaching experience with Secondary students or college is a strong recommendation.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:
• Teaching for 18-20 periods per week (assigned subjects will depend on an individual timetable).
• Preparing classroom and course materials/lesson plans.
• Be responsible for examination and invigilating.
• Handling administrative tasks (i.e. grade students’ assessments, report, and etc.)
• Participating in the extra-curricular activities, school duties/activities assigned by school.

In addition, the school will fully accommodate a work permit, a Thai Teaching License, and a working visa (Non-Immigrant Visa B). Base Salary Range: 40,000-60,000 THB
• The offer greatly varies depending on the applicant's qualifications and teaching assignments
• Upon a teaching assignment, there are potential additional incomes from extra lesson, homeroom allowance, and so on.
