JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role involves creating an environment that is supportive, structured, and adaptive to meet the unique needs of the student. Through individualized instruction, behavioral support, and collaboration with families and professionals, a support teacher helps the student with ASD thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement and monitor IEP.
Use various teaching methods (visual aids, hands-on activities, etc.) to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assessing and Monitoring student’s class performance
Providing behavioral and emotional support
Collaborating with parents, teachers for cohesive support system.
Continues learning for updated teaching methods for special education.
Act as an advocate for students’ rights to ensure they receive the appropriate accommodations, resources, and support.
Prepare and implement accommodations.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree in special education
At least has 1-2 years experience working with students with special needs
Preferably a woman
Empathy and patience
Adaptability and strong communication skills
BENEFITS AND SALARY:
Salary ฿25,000 - ฿35,000
