Job Description:● Implement a dynamic curriculum that addresses the developmental needs of preschool children, focusing on critical thinking, questioning, and emotional growth.
● Able to teach Primary 1-6 Singapore Maths Curriculum for Spartan Maths program.
● Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to explore and learn.
● Engage children through creative learning experiences, including play, music, arts, and hands-on activities.
● Ensure the classroom remains clean, safe, and well-organised to promote a conducive learning environment.
● Work closely with other staff to plan and execute school events and special activities that enhance the educational experience.
● Continuously assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing feedback to parents and collaborating with them to support their child’s development.
● Evaluate children's performance based on their participation in class activities.
● Use positive guidance strategies and techniques at all times.
● Provide a safe and secure environment where children feel comfortable.
● Perform other related duties as required.
Skills:
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
● Creative and inspiring personality with dynamic and energetic lesson delivery.
● Strong classroom management skills.
● Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with preschool children.
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team and engage with parents.
Job Qualifications:
● Available to start on December 2024 or 1 January 2025
● Singaporeans preferred.
● Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related fields (e.g., Early Years Enrichment,
Creative Language Arts, Speech and Drama).
● Minimum of 1 year of classroom teaching experience with learners aged 18 months
to 6 years, and 7-12 years old.
● Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in Thai is a bonus.
● Passion for working with children.
● Ability to work under pressure.
● Availability to work 5 days a week (weekday off and weekend work required).
● Willing to travel to Thailand to stay and to work at the centre full time.
● Experienced in the Singapore Education System, and the Singapore Primary
Education System.
