Panyarat High School is an English Program school which places an emphasis on Science and Mathematics while also focusing on teaching 21st century learning and the innovation skills needed for success in the global marketplace. Panyarat is also a recognised Google Reference School. To that end, all students have their own Google chromebooks, all classrooms are equipped with interactive digital displays, and education technology is utilized by teachers across all subjects. We are looking for a highly motivated and capable science and maths teacher to join our team and help continue the development of our program. Teachers at PHS are encouraged to employ new and innovative teaching methods which make full use of the technology available. With an abundance of resources, a maximum of 26 students per class, and a manageable workload of no more than 18 contact hours per week, both students and teachers are able to experience a rewarding and engaging learning environment. The foreign staff are a cohesive group and we welcome team players who are passionate about teaching as well as share our educational philosophy.

Subject Descriptions:
Science (Grades 7-9)
The PHS Science Department embraces learning through hands-on laboratory experiments and use of educational technology. PHS is looking for enthusiastic educators who are able to engage students and inspire their passion for learning science. We welcome applications from experienced science teachers with expertise in chemistry, physics and biology.

Mathematics (Secondary)
The PHS Mathematics Department follows the Thai national curriculum utilising a variety of learning resources. PHS is seeking enthusiastic educators who can create and deliver differentiated content to meet the needs of our students and inspire a lifelong desire for learning. We welcome applications from experienced mathematics teachers to join our team.

Working Requirements:
1. Teachers will teach a maximum of 18 hours per week.
2. Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7:50 am – 4:00 pm.
3. Teachers will be required to attend parent meetings and school events on weekends periodically throughout the year.

Employment Criteria:
1. Must be a native English speaker from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
2. Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area.
3. Minimum experience of three years teaching in a high school, preferably in Thailand.
4. Experience with or willing to learn 21st Century teaching methodology, including Google Apps for Education, Google Classroom’s Learning Management System, interactive smartboards and educational software.

Compensation:
1. Salary starts at 75,000 baht/month plus a 15,000 baht housing allowance.
2. 12 month contract with paid holidays in April and October.
3. Health insurance.
4. Work permits and visa extensions will be provided.
