The American University Alumni (AUA) Language Center, founded in 1952 at Saranrom Palace by American University Alumni Association under the royal patronage with the support of the American Embassy, has been building a solid foundation for English teaching and learning in Thailand over the past several decades and has contributed to the English language learning journeys of more than 1.8 million Thais across the nation.AUA Language Center, Chiang Mai, is looking for English Language teachers who are committed, enthusiastic and caring to join us in delivering quality English instruction to young learners, grades 1 through 6, at a well-equipped primary school in Chiang Mai city. Applicants must be native (or native-like) speakers of English, and have a first degree and TEFL certificate or CELTA certificate. Applicants with specific training and/or significant experience teaching young learners will be prioritized, as will those already located in Chiang Mai.
Visas and work permits will be provided. This job pays 700 baht per teaching hour + 200 baht travel allowance per day. Hours may range from 12 to 18 per week, depending on needs and grades taught.
