Location: Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University, Bangkok

Start date: End of May 2025, refer to school calendar.

Salary: Based on salary scale, depending qualifications and experience.

About the Role:
SBS is seeking a dynamic, experienced, professionally certified teacher to join our international teaching team.The ideal candidate will be suitably qualified and experienced, as well as being fully committed to supporting the development of students through curricular and extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
● Teaching IGCSE, AS/A - Level chemistry or Biology or Physics to students according to the requirements of the Cambridge Curriculum.
● Preparing curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials for class instruction and activities, managing information on the school’s administrative system.
● Adapting teaching methods, learning strategies, and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
● Conducting assessments of student attainment, monitoring student academic progress and providing pertinent feedback.
● Establishing classroom expectations, observing and evaluating student performance, behaviour, social development, and health.
● Conferring with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and to address behavioural or academic concerns.
● Tailor teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and support students requiring extra assistance.
● Work closely with colleagues, parents, and guardians to discuss student progress and any academic or behavioral challenges.
● Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and support extracurricular activities as needed.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Biology or Physics or Science, or a related field.
● Valid teaching licence or certification.
● Experience of teaching chemistry or General Science to lower and upper secondary students following Cambridge International Education Program (Checkpoint /IGCSE/ AS/A Levels) and Thai MoE.
● Experience working with EAL learners and conducting laboratory experiments.

Skills and Attributes:
● Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 level).
● Strong classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
● Flexible, adaptable, and committed to student welfare.
