🌍 Are you knowledgeable in both Mathematics and Science? Are you enthusiastic about passing that passion onto the next generation?
Great news! SINE is looking for a teacher just like you, for the new school year starting April 2025. Join SINE's English department in a Government secondary school located in Nonthaburi, Bangkok.
As a SINE EP teacher, you'll use both SINE material and external resources to craft and deliver Maths and Science lessons aligned with the Thai Curriculum. SINE supports you with textbooks, workbooks and template PowerPoint lessons. As an English Program Teacher, you will utilise these resources to develop engaging lessons for your students.
Class sizes are capped at 30 students, with a maximum of 18 teaching hours per week. SINE EP teachers receive full training and continuous support from SINE's Western management team, in-school and local-area guidance from our dedicated SINE coordinators, and the backing and assistance of our Western and Thai office team.
The successful candidate must have experience in both Maths and Science, and the classroom, along with the desire to work in a supported environment alongside other SINE subject teachers.
📝 Contract Details:
Start Date: April 21st, 2025
End Date: March 31, 2026 (with automatic renewal from April 1, 2025)
👨🏫Key Details:
• Class size: 30 students maximum
• Teaching hours: no more than 18 per week
💸 Salary and Benefits:
• Starting Salary: 42,000 THB
• Contract Completion Bonus: 30,000 THB
• Paid Holidays: minimum 2 weeks in October + additional 2 weeks in April for those who resign for the following year.
• Work Permit and Non-B Visa: Processed and paid for by SINE's dedicated work permit/visa team
• Health Insurance: Allianz coverage + dental
🎯 Requirements:
🌍 Native English speakers from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the USA
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific or Mathematical field, a solid background in both Science AND Maths, and the ability to teach both. Candidates without relevant degrees need not apply.
📚 Prior teaching experience
🎂 Age: 55 or under
