We are seeking 2 native English speaking teachers to join our team at St. Dominic School located in Makkasan, Bangkok.St. Dominic's is a Christian school with students from P1-M6. We offer both a general programme and an English programme. We are looking for highly motivated native English speaking teachers to join our team in the positions below.
1. English teacher for Prathom English programme
2. English teacher for Mathayom General Programme
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
- 40,000-50,000 Baht starting salary depending on qualifications and experience.
- Free accommodation is available at the school with all utilities included.
- Position starts May 2025.
- Normal working hours are 07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.
- Teaching 20-24 periods x 50 minutes per week.
- Additional teaching opportunities for extra income are available.
- 12 month contract with fully paid holidays (about 5 weeks) plus public holidays.
- Accident and emergency insurance.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants MUST meet these criteria:
– Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
– Bachelor’s degree or higher.
– TEFL, CELTA, PGCEi, MEd, or similar credentials are preferred.
– Minimum of 1-2 years’ teaching experience.
EXPECTATIONS
We seek teachers who create a learning environment that is caring, consistent, interesting, and challenging for all abilities.
Responsibilities include grading work; keeping records; and producing/adapting lesson plans, materials, and exams to a consistently high standard.
