School Context
Regent’s International School, Bangkok is a well-established international school for day and boarding students. The school delivers a locally adapted English curriculum to students, including the IGCSE qualifications at the end of Year 11. At sixth form, the school offers the IB Diploma Programme and is being authorised to offer the IB Career-Related Pathway.
Students at Regent’s come from Thailand and across the region. The school is a privately owned school and all families (except those on scholarships) pay fees for the school’s services.
The school is a member of Round Square, the Federation of British International Schools In Asia (FOBISIA), the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and the Thailand International Schools Athletic Committee (TISAC).
Regent’s is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and ONESQA

Position Specific Responsibilities
Support Learning
● Assist the class teacher in implementing age-appropriate activities and lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of children in the Early Years
● Ensure activities are engaging and tailored to foster curiosity, creativity, and growth
Encourage Emotional Intelligence
● Support the development of children’s social and emotional skills, modeling kindness, empathy, resilience, and positive social interactions.
Promote Inclusive Learning
● Provide targeted support for children with varying needs to ensure that all students have equal access to learning opportunities.
Monitor Progress
● Observe and record students’ academic and social development
● Share insights with the class teacher and contribute to the planning and tracking of student progress.
Classroom Management
● Assist in creating and maintaining a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged to learn.
Health and Safety
● Supervise students during class activities, breaks, and outdoor play, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed.
Parent Communication
● Establish and maintain open communication with parents, providing updates on children’s progress and any relevant developments.
Promote School Values
● Actively promote the school’s values of happiness, kindness, and resilience in all interactions with students, colleagues, and the wider community.

Qualifications and Requirements
● Experience: previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Experience in an international environment is an advantage.
● Education: a relevant qualification in Early Years Education, childcare, or a related field.
● Knowledge of Early Years Curriculum: familiarity with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum or another international early years framework is desirable.
● Language Skills: proficiency in English is required - additional language skills are a plus.
● Clear Background Check: successful candidates will be required to undergo a full criminal background check.
