(2020/21) Ratchaburi v Samut Prakan
The Thai league season resumes after the international break and it's time to enter The Dragon's Den
Surely we can improve on the last time we played Ratchaburi at the Mitr Phol Stadium? I won't forget that second half performance in a hurry.
(2020/21) Samut Prakan v Sukhothai
The return of last season's star striker, Ibson Melo, and ex-manager, Surapong Kongthep
Last week's defeat at home to Suphanburi means Samut Prakan are hovering just above the relegation zone and this weekend, the bottom four clubs all play each other. Oh boy, do we need three points from this one!
(2020/21) BG Pathum United v Samut Prakan
A trip to Pathum Thani and the chance to pit ourselves against the league leaders
My first ever visit to a stadium I've wanted to see for some time - the iconic, three-sided Leo Stadium in Pathum Thani. What a shame it's such a bugger to get to if you don't have your own car!
(2019) Samut Prakan v Suphanburi
Our last home game of the season and a must-win game for the visitors Suphanburi
Every match this evening will kick off at 6.00 pm so it means checking scores on mobile phones will become as crucial as watching the game you're at. It's going to be a nail-biter.
(2019) Samut Prakan v Muangthong United
A midweek league game against The Kirins, a team in red hot form at the moment
Although Muangthong had a dreadful start to the campaign and we beat them 3-0 at their place, they have rediscovered their form in the second half of the season and are currently on a run of just one defeat in their last 13 games. This could be a very tough evening indeed.
(2019) Samut Prakan v Trat
The chance to get our season back on track against a struggling team?
On paper it's a very winnable game but we are seriously struggling for form at the moment. I'll take a victory tonight at any price. It's all about the three points!
(2019) Ratchaburi v Samut Prakan
A midweek train journey from Bangkok and the chance to catch up with an old friend
Many football fans say it's the finest stadium in the Premier League and the away trip they look forward to most. Well, you can add my voice to that because I couldn't heap enough praise on it. Ratchaburi's Mitr Phol Stadium is simply magnificent!
(2019) Samut Prakan City v Chonburi
It's another derby day as we welcome The Sharks from Chonburi
The Sharks started the season with high hopes but have had a disappointing campaign, spending much of it in the bottom half of the table. They've got just one point to show from their last five away games. They don't travel well!
(2019) Muangthong United v Samut Prakan City
An away trip to one of the premier league's 'big four' clubs
When the season's fixtures were released at the start of the year, this was one of the first away games I looked out for. The SCG is a stadium I really want to see. With no running track around it and enclosed by four stands, it's probably one of the best opportunities you'll get to sample something similar to an English football match atmosphere.
