(2019) Muangthong United v Samut Prakan City

An away trip to one of the premier league's 'big four' clubs

When the season's fixtures were released at the start of the year, this was one of the first away games I looked out for. The SCG is a stadium I really want to see. With no running track around it and enclosed by four stands, it's probably one of the best opportunities you'll get to sample something similar to an English football match atmosphere.

(2019) Samut Prakan City v Chainat

Three home points would be the perfect birthday present tonight!

This evening we welcome Chainat FC (The Hornbills) and any of their supporters who have made the three-hour journey by road. The game definitely has a potential banana skin feel to it.

(2019) Samut Prakan City v Ratchaburi

In our first midweek fixture of the season, can we slay the Dragons of Ratchburi?

We've slipped down to mid-table and after winning our opening couple of games, we're without a victory in the last three. So three points tonight please, lads!

(2019) Samut Prakan City v Sukhothai

Our second home game of the season and The Firebats are in town

Tonight we host Sukhothai FC. Currently lying just below half-way in the Premier League table and with three draws from their opening three games, they could be tough opponents to break down.

(2019) Samut Prakan City v Chiang Mai

The first of 30 Thai Premier League games. Here we go!

We begin our campaign with a home game against Chiang Mai FC. The Lanna Tigers were promoted from division two last season after finishing in third place.

Popping my Thai football cherry

My first Thai Premier League game - and a mouth-watering clash between Chonburi FC and Suphanburi FC

I have lived in Thailand for almost three decades and I'm a huge football fan. And yet I had never been to a Thai Premier League football match. It was time to put that right.
